Terms of Service

Effective 11 September 2026. These terms are short because the product is: a log, a camera, and a count.

Who we are

Number Two (the app listed on the App Store as numbertwo.io, and this website) is operated by Harrison, trading as a sole proprietor in the United States ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, which is part of them.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. The app collects photographs and health-related information, and it is not designed for children or teenagers. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will delete it.

Not medical advice

Number Two is a wellness log. It describes what it measures in a photograph and compares your log with other people's, and that is the whole of it. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, it is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. A percentage in a report is a count of what other people went on to log — never a statement about you.

If you see blood, are in pain, or anything about your health is worrying you, talk to a clinician. Do not delay or change medical care because of anything the app shows.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google, or a phone number. You are responsible for keeping that sign-in to yourself and for what happens under your account. One person, one account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy; deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in the privacy policy.

Your content

Your photographs, logs, check-ins and corrections are yours. So that the app can work, you give us permission to store them, measure them, run them through our AI provider, build your reports from them, and show them back to you. What we do beyond that — and only with your separate say-so in the app — is set out in the privacy policy. You confirm that anything you log is yours to log.

Sharing

You can save a card to your phone or hand it to another app; that never touches our servers. If you turn on hosted links, we publish the card you chose at an unguessable address on numbertwo.io for about 30 days. Anyone with the address can see it. Links cannot be taken down early, so share what you would be happy for anyone to see.

Acceptable use

Do not upload anything that is not a photograph of your own toilet bowl, anything unlawful, or anyone else's information. Do not try to break in, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing dataset. Do not use share links to harass anyone. We may suspend or delete an account that does any of these.

Changes and ending

We may change the app, and we may change these terms. If a change matters we will tell you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that is agreeing to it. You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may close the service or your account, and if we close the service we will give notice in the app and a way to get a copy of your data first.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that a measurement is accurate, that a report is right about anyone, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcome, or decision made in reliance on the app. Our total liability for anything arising out of the app or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as they can.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
